IKIGAI Life Coaching believes in empowering you to care for yourself as much as you care for others. With over 15 years of experience as a clinical healthcare provider, I recognized the unique pressures faced by those in healthcare and felt called to create a space dedicated to their personal growth and fulfillment. Healthcare professionals are constantly challenged to give of themselves, but often need the support to refill their own reserves.

 

At IKIGAI, I’m here to help you fill your own cup first, allowing the world to benefit from the overflow.

  • DO I NEED TO SIGN A LIFE COACHING CONTRACT?
    Yes, a coaching contract is equally beneficial to both the coach and client. My simple and comprehensive coaching contract serves 3 purposes: Assures the coachee (YOU) that they will receive quality service Reinforces the coachee’s commitment to life coaching process Clearly outlines terms and conditions agreed to by both the coach and coachee to assure the client achieves the desired outcome
  • WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIFE COACHING AND THERAPY?
    Therapy emphasizes healing and understanding, while life coaching focuses on action and future achievement. Many people work with both a therapist and a life coach to address different needs. Therapy can often be a longer-term commitment, involving the processing of deeply ingrained issues, whereas life coaching is generally shorter-term and structured around clear goals. Therapists are licensed mental health professionals, typically with degrees in psychology, counseling, or social work. They are regulated and licensed to treat mental health disorders and are trained in therapeutic interventions. Life coaches, however, don’t need specific formal credentials (though many complete certification programs).
